Overview

If you decide to discontinue using WellnessChecker AI, you can request to have your account closed. Once the request is made, the support team verifies and processes it within 7 business days. After the account is closed, information linked to your profile remains securely stored for 30 days before being permanently erased from the system. This buffer period exists for regulatory compliance and gives you the flexibility to cancel the request if you change your mind.

Impact of Removing Your Account

Requesting removal will:
  • Block your sign-in access.
  • End any active sessions across devices.
  • Disable reminders, notifications, and wellness recommendations.
  • Mark your profile details and history for deletion after 30 days.
Please note that certain records may be kept where the law requires it (for example, anonymized wellness data used in reports or compliance with health-related obligations).

Steps to Request Account Removal

  1. Open the WellnessChecker app.
  2. Go to Profile or Settings.
  3. Select Account & Security.
  4. Tap Remove Account.
  5. Choose a reason from the options, or write your own in the text field.
  6. Confirm by pressing Remove.
A confirmation will be shown once the request is submitted.

What Happens Next

  • Within 7 business days: Your account is closed by the admin team.
  • Next 30 days: Your data is kept securely in a restricted state, but cannot be accessed.
  • After 30 days: All personal data is permanently wiped from our servers and backups.
During the 30-day period, you may contact support to cancel the request and keep your account. After that point, restoration is not possible.
